Mani D’oro translates simply to “hands of gold”.
And just as gold is known for high quality, so are our processes and the capable hands of our employees. When we decided to bring our pasta to the US, we knew that we had to make it the traditional way in order to meet our high standards, but most importantly, to make our ancestors proud. Anything else simply would not do.
We use only the best, high-quality ingredients to make all of our pastas and combine that with the authentic processes we learned from our Nonnas (grandmothers) so long ago. We use durum wheat, known as “pasta wheat”, that when milled, produces high quality Semolina flour. Its high protein content provides cooking consistency and just the right al dente texture. We also use Italian machinery and water filtration systems to mimic the water of our native Italy.
